Joshua Amponsem, named one of the 100 most influential young people in Africa, leads projects across climate action, disaster risk and resilience building. His work centers on equity and the inclusion of young people in local and global development processes. He is the founder of the Green Africa Youth Organization (a 2024 Earthshot Prize winner), codirector of the Youth Climate Justice Fund and served as climate lead in the UN Secretary General's Envoy on Youth in 2021-2023.
