Theme: Synapse

Our theme for this year’s TEDx conference is Synapse. In biological terms, a synapse facilitates the transmission of information between neurons, sparking activity and communication. Similarly, TEDx serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas, igniting new thoughts, connections, and innovations that transform individuals and society. The Synapse theme explores the intricate and dynamic connections between people, ideas, and innovations. By embracing this theme, we invite speakers to share perspectives that highlight the power of connection—whether intellectual, creative, or social—and how these connections drive personal and collective transformation. The “Synapse” theme emphasizes: The importance of connections in both intellectual and social contexts. How ideas and innovations are like synapses, sparking change and growth when they interact. How people, communities, and cultures evolve through collaboration, similar to how synapses in the brain strengthen through repeated use. At this TEDx event, we encourage speakers to present thought-provoking ideas across fields like art, education, science, and technology—fostering new perspectives and challenging conventional thinking. Through captivating storytelling, cutting-edge research, and personal anecdotes, speakers will ignite conversations that help listeners transcend traditional boundaries and spark new connections.
