Franziska Kretzschmar (M.A.) is an expert in holistic training and health. Her holistic and scientifically based approach combines training, nutrition, breathing, mindset and everyday routines into a powerful overall concept that strengthens body and mind in equal measure. At the centre of her work: the pelvic floor.

Marion Mangelsdorf

Cultural Scientist
Marion Mangelsdorf was born in Cologne. As a cultural scientist and Scientific Director of the Centre for Anthropology and Gender Studies (ZAG), she has been working at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg since 1998. She is also a guest lecturer at the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Basel. For her, it is crucial to ask how environmental issues and urban development processes can be co-designed by all those who live in cities in order to promote social justice, biodiversity and gender diversity.

Martin Böhm

Outdoor Enthusiast
Born in 1974 in Freiburg, this multifaceted storyteller is a family man with two children and a passion for the great outdoors. A background as an Fs technician and a degree in Physical Geography laid the foundation for a career that bridges science and creativity. Today, he brings his expertise to the marketing world of the outdoor industry, where he crafts compelling narratives. As an author and photographer, his work spans countless publications, both online and in print, capturing the spirit of nature and adventure.

Martin Schuettler

Co-founder CorTec
At the end of his electrical engineering studies, Martin Schüttler (*1972) became interested in neurotechnology. After completing his diploma thesis and doctorate in this field at the Fraunhofer IBMT and postdoctoral stays in England and Australia, he joined IMTEK in Freiburg in 2005, from where he co-founded CorTec in 2010 with the aim of developing implantable brain-computer interfaces and making them available to patients.

Sabrina Lorenz

Activist for inclusion
Sabrina Lorenz is an author, speaker, consultant and activist for inclusion, ableism and patient communication. The trained social worker is herself chronically ill and severely disabled and shows that inclusion belongs at the centre of a democratic society. With her blog Fragments of Living, she reaches over 37,000 people on the topics of disability empowerment and online activism and was honoured as a Time Campus ‘30 to 30’ at the end of 2024.

Sarah Ziegler

Film director
As a director and camerawoman, Sarah Ziegler (30) combines a passion for film and photography with the aim of telling inspiring stories that can move people and bring about positive change. With roots in the Black Forest, she is adventurous by nature and loves travelling outdoors. She studied Media Cultural Studies, Spanish and Biology at the University of Freiburg. She now works at the film production company Black Forest Collective in Freiburg as a director for documentaries and commercials. Together with other young people, she founded the association ‘Wild Europe e.V.’ in 2019. Together, they travelled through Europe and discovered wild, unspoilt places where endangered animal species and plants still have a sanctuary. They capture these natural wonders on camera and make them accessible to a wider audience. Their great passion is climate and environmental protection.
