Aytan Aliasgarova

Advocate and Activist Mother, HR specialist

Aytan Aliasgarova is a professional in human resources and talent management, holding an MBA in International Business from Istanbul University. Starting her career at 18 while attending evening classes, Aytan demonstrated resilience and determination by gaining diverse work experience. Her journey is particularly inspiring as a mother of a child with cerebral palsy. Despite challenges, her son's joyful personality has shown Aytan the power of love and patience. Motivated by this, she raises awareness about disabilities and advocates for inclusion. Aytan has spoken at various events and volunteered at a Child Development Center, aiming to create supportive environments where children, regardless of challenges, can thrive. In her TED Talk, Aytan will focus on shifting from pity to understanding and embracing children with physical disabilities. Her goal is to inspire communities to create environments where every child, regardless of physical challenges, can thrive.

Daniz Shukurzada

Grade 4 student at Kaspi Lyceum

Daniz, a Grade 4 student, has a passion for drawing and singing, and enjoys expressing herself through creative arts. Alongside her artistic talents, she is deeply interested in Information Technology (IT) and dreams of becoming a lawyer in the future. In her TEDxYouth talk, Daniz will inspire others with the message that everyone can make a change. She will discuss how each of us, regardless of age, can have a positive impact on the world around us and encourage others to take action to create meaningful change.

Elchin Musayev

Procurement and supply chain manager

With nearly 16 years of expertise in procurement and supply chain management, Elchin Musayev brings unparalleled insights into modern business practices. A graduate of Azerbaijan University of Languages in European Studies and International Relations, Elchin pursued a Master’s in Management at the Graduate School of Management in Malaysia. As a CIPS-certified international procurement specialist and recognized trainer, he has honed his expertise through advanced training in the U.S. and Germany. Currently serving as Deputy Head of the Operations Procurement and Supply Department at SOCAR, Elchin oversees IT and digital project procurement across the organization, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Elnur Azizov

Educator and trainer

Elnur Azizov is an experienced educator with 15 years of expertise in the field of non-formal education. He holds a TOT (Training of Trainers) certification and is a certified trainer. He has contributed to the Future Leaders Awareness Program (FLAP.az), where hhe participated as a team member in designing the project. Currently, he works as a consultant, trainer, and mentor in this initiative. In addition to his work in education and training, Elnur is also an event organizer, actively planning and managing educational and community-focused events. Since 2018, he has been managing his personal project, "Atabəylər Club", the aim of which is to raise awareness about the role of fathers in child-rearing, organizing activities, seminars, and meetings to promote greater involvement of fathers in their children’s upbringing. Elnur also has a background in music education.

Fikrat Orujov

Grade 7 student at Kaspi Lyceum

Fikrat, a 7th grader at Kaspi Lyceum, is a passionate amateur footballer who combines his love for sports with a deep interest in technology. In his free time, he enjoys building custom computers and developing games using Python, showcasing his creativity and technical skills. In his TEDxYouth talk, Fikrat will explore why every child should have their own personal computer. Drawing on his experiences in computer building and game engineering, he highlights the importance of access to technology in fostering creativity, learning, and problem-solving skills.

Fizuli Aliyev

Architect and CEO of Design Bureau

Fizuli Aliyev is a visionary architect and CEO of Design Bureau, renowned for his work in creating sustainable, community-focused spaces. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and an Executive Program from Yale, he combines design innovation with environmental responsibility. His portfolio spans key projects in Azerbaijan and Turkey, including the Lankaran Springs and Wellness Resort, the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, and developments in the Karabagh region. Awarded Architect of the Year in 2023, Fizuli is also a passionate advocate for sustainable architecture and a co-founder of Baku ArchiFest, a platform promoting future-focused design.

Huseyn Hasanov

Educator and psychologist

Huseyn Hasanov is a multifaceted professional—a pedagogue, psychologist, entrepreneur, and podcast host. As the founder of Edulance.az and Outsite.az, he is at the forefront of self-development initiatives in Azerbaijan. Drawing from his expertise in psychology and years of teaching experience, Huseyn creates transformative programs that empower individuals to unlock their potential. Through his widely-followed podcasts on child upbringing, Huseyn offers practical advice and profound insights to parents, blending scientific understanding with cultural relevance. Guided by his motto, "Bir insan bir insan deyil" ("One person is not a person"), Huseyn is committed to fostering strong, interconnected communities that prioritize collective growth and mutual support.

Jahad Abdulla

Grade 7 student at Kaspi Lyceum

Jahad Abdulla, a 7th grader at Kaspi Lyceum is a passionate enthusiast of engineering, mathematics, and physics. In his free time, he delves into coding with C++ and Arduino, channeling his creativity into innovative projects. Aspiring to become a space engineer, Jahad is driven by a curiosity about how technology can transform the future. In his TEDxYouth talk, Jahad explores whether students should embrace artificial intelligence, drawing on insights from a survey he conducted among his schoolmates and peers. By combining personal perspectives with real data, Jahad challenges his audience to consider the opportunities and ethical questions AI brings to education and society

Kanan Mammadov

Historian and educator

Kenan Mammadov is a passionate historian and educator, holding a degree from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and currently teaching history at Kaspi Bakikhanov Lyceum. Kenan is also the chairman of the "Support for Education in History" public union. His dedication to historical education is evident in his achievements, including being the author of the documentary film series "Khamsa," and winning several prestigious awards, such as the “Witnesses of History” competition and the “Our Spiritual Heritage – Alban Temples” competition organized by MDTF. His projects, such as “The Real Identity of Karabakh: Alban Monuments” and “The Memory of Erevan: Traces of Azerbaijan in the Ancient Homeland,” reflect his deep commitment to preserving historical heritage. In his TED Talk, he will emphasize how understanding the past can shape a better future. He will encourage students to study history, exploring its relevance to current and future challenges.

TV presenter, sign language and speech trainer

Nurana Abiyeva is a dynamic communicator and passionate advocate for education and social impact. A graduate of Baku State University’s Faculty of Library and Information Science, she has over four years of experience as an editor for Sabahın xeyir, Azərbaycan on Ictimai Television and two years as the host of the beloved children’s program 7 Şüşə. Since 2015, Nurana has been a dedicated trainer and promoter of sign language, empowering individuals with hearing impairments and leading impactful social initiatives. She has also served as a trainer at Diksiya Akademiyası for more than five years, helping countless individuals refine their public speaking and communication skills. Nurana is a firm believer in the motto, "Əylənərək öyrənək" ("Let’s learn while having fun"), and she strives to make education both practical and enjoyable. Her work as a social blogger further amplifies her mission to inspire and inform audiences with engaging, accessible content.

Nuray Abaszada
